sewage treatment system
Sewage treatment comes in two stages - primary and secondary treatment. The primary stage involves a process of screening solids from sewage, leaving a sludge and relatively clear water for further treatment or for disposal into rivers, the sea or on to the land. In the secondary stage the sludge is stirred constantly in vast tanks to get more oxygen into the mixture, allowing bacteria to break down the organic matter and leave a harmless residue that falls as a sediment to the bottom of the tank. After processing, the clear water on top of the tank is discharged into rivers and the sediment is used as landfill or discharged at sea. (Source: WRIGHT)

13 будь семь пядей во лбу
however wise he is; he may be as clever as you please, but...; if he be (though he may be) a SolomonИзвестно, что человек, слишком увлёкшийся страстью, особенно если он в летах, совершенно слепнет... теряет рассудок и действует как глупый ребёнок, хотя бы и был семи пядей во лбу. (Ф. Достоевский, Идиот) — It is common knowledge that a man who is carried away by passion, especially if he is getting on in years, is quite blind and... loses all self-control and behaves like a silly child, though he may be a Solomon in other respects.
Любой сталевар, будь он семи пядей во лбу, ничего не добьётся без самоотверженной помощи многочисленной армии людей всех производственных участков. (В. Попов, Обретёшь в бою) — No matter how experienced and skilful these steelmakers, their results depended on a whole army of people contributing their bit at every stage of the process.
