Se usa principalmente para describir la manera en que el gobierno presenta sus acciones ante los medios de comunicación. Este uso de spin, que sugiere la acción de dar el sesgo conveniente a la información, proviene probablemente del mundo del deporte: en el béisbol o en el billar spin hace relación al efecto que se da a la pelota para cambiar su dirección. En la misma línea, a los portavoces del gobierno en los medios de comunicación se les llama “spin doctors”.2 estirar (dinero)3 explicar con exceso de detalle, explayarse sobre, detallar bien claro.4 girar fuera de control.5 perseverar. -
