Nota d'usoL'aggettivo italiano interessato può essere tradotto in molti modi, a seconda del contesto in cui viene usato. La traduzione letterale “interested” è corretta solo in presenza di un interesse attivo per qualcosa: Sono interessato alla letteratura medievale, I'm interested in medieval literature. Quando si parla di un evento che ha effetti negativi su qualcuno o qualcosa, si usa “affected”: le zone interessate dall'alluvione, the areas affected by the floods. Infine, “concerned” indica persone o cose associate a una determinata circostanza: Stiamo risarcendo le spese di viaggio.
