Связи, идущие от вант из-под марса к боковым его кромкам; служат для укрепления кромок марса и не дают ему выгибаться вверх от тяги стень-вант. В зависимости от принадлежности к той или иной мачте носят газвание: фор-путенс-ванты, грот-путенс-ванты, крюйс-путенс-ванты. -
