Our w. seems to be a derivative of a stem חסס, with anorganic נ, having the meaning of nakedness, shame. (cmp חָסִית I, חֲסַד, חסף).

Ib. בזה שחִיסַּדְתֶּם אותווכ׳ with the very word ( שופט) with which you sneered at him, I shall give him the rulership ( משפטים). Pesik.
