полиферментные каталитические белковые структуры, обладающие протеолитической и АТФазной активностями (см. аденозинтрифосфатазы). П. построены из центрального кора, состоящего из 14 белковых димеров в кольцевой структуре. Всего содержат 4 кольца, расположенных друг над другом; две регуляторные части с двух сторон от кора, 14 белков в каждой, 6 из которых ATФазы. П. вовлечены в деградацию всех убиквитинированных белков, а также в презентирование антигенов на поверхности клеток. Белки, меченые убиквитином (см. убиквитин), в основном деградируют в клетках в 26S П., которые состоят из протеолитического кора и одного или двух регуляторных комплексов.Толковый биотехнологический словарь.
