99 photo opportunity
Как пишет Тime, Ziegler was credited with coining the term photo opportunity, now widely used to describe canned political appearances.
New York Times:
•• When Muslim groups complained that the Pentagon was “ endorsing” his attacks on Islam, Graham asked for a photo op with Muslim Pentagon employees. They declined.
New York Times):
•• ...being seen at the Buckingham Palace and alongside Mr. Blair amounted “ the mother of all photo opportunities for President Bush”.
•• В короткой заметке в Тime говорится также, что Зиглер was also famous for rescinding one set of White House lies by calling them “ inoperative”. President Nixon’s defiant, clueless press aid during the Watergate scandal.
