Чрезмерный рост
Резкое увеличение стоимости актива с последующим медленным возвратом к равновесному состоянию. Чрезмерный рост валютных курсов, например, часто наблюдается в условиях системы плавающих валютных курсов, когда в ответ на какое-либо потрясение на рынке фактический уровень валютного курса выходит далеко за рамки равновесного уровня, который определяется паритетом покупательной способности. Обычно это объясняется разной скоростью приспособления к изменившейся конъюнктуре на рынках товаров и рынках капиталов (см. Adjustment speed).
