Устройство, которое ограничивает температуру контролируемой части при ненормальной работе путем автоматического размыкания цепи или уменьшения значения тока и которое сконструировано так, что его уставка не может быть изменена пользователем.

термовыключатель
Термочувствительное управляющее устройство, предназначенное для поддержания значения температуры выше или ниже заданного при ненормальном режиме работы, которое не может иметь средств настройки потребителем.
Примечание - Термовыключатель может быть с автоматическим или ручным возвратом.
Обычно термовыключатель производит действие типа 2.
