В словосочетаниях с названиями периодов времени, содержащих прилагательное last 2. в значении "прошлый, предыдущий" ни артикль, ни предлог не употребляются: last time в прошлый раз; last week на прошлой неделе, last night вчера вечером, last year (month) в прошлом году (месяце), last Sunday в прошлое воскресенье. (3.) Русским "в (за) последние дни (недели, годы)" в английском языке соответствуют выражения during /in/for the last few (two, three) days (weeks, years). (4.) B косвенной речи вместо прилагательного last 2. употребляется previous или наречие before: they met, he said, the weekend before он сказал, что они виделись в прошлый выходной; she remembered the quarrel of the previous week (of the week before) она вспомнила ссору, произошедшую на прошлой неделе.
