Plin. 5, 61 u. 36, 84. – II) ein ähnliches Gebäude bei Gnossos auf Kreta, mit vielen Irrgängen, der Sage nach von Dädalus erbaut, wahrsch. eine Felsengrotte mit langen, sich durchkreuzenden Gängen, Plin. 36, 85. Sen. ep. 44, 7. Verg. Aen. 5, 588. Ov. met. 8, 159 sqq. – III) ein ähnliches Gebäude in Klusium in Etrurien, von Porsena erbaut, Varro fr. bei Plin. 36, 91 D.
