сущ. кильсон– продольная связь на судах с ординарным дном, соединяющая днищевые части шпангоутов. В зависимости от своего расположения по ширине судна различают средние, боковые и скуловые кильсоны. На деревянных судах кильсоном называют продольный брус, накладываемый поверх шпангоутов и обеспечивающий не только увеличение продольной крепости, но и связь между шпангоутами.
