    1) På futures markedet benyttes den om kontrakter, der handles og afregnes på forskellige handelsdage.
    2) På værdipapirmarkedet benyttes termen om identiske værdipapirer i et bogføringssystem, hvor der ikke er noteret en bestemt aktie eller obligation på den enkelte ejers konto.
    3) Mere specielt benyttes termen om obligationer udstedt i en ny emission, der bortset fra emissionskursen, som vil afspejle markedsrenten er identiske med en allerede udstedt obligationsserie og derfor forsynes med samme fondskode. Se også tap issue.

    2) I Euro market: Perioden fra closing date til udstedelsen af de endelige obligationer har fundet sted, dvs. den periode, hvor global note repræsenterer hele emissionen.
    3) På aktiemarkedet: Den periode i hvilken en større aktionær har forpligtet sig til ikke at afhænde aktier i et selskab. Se også lock-up agreement.
