    2) Если инфинитивный оборот является подлежащим или определением при прилагательном или существительном и имеет выраженное подлежащее, то перед подлежащим инфинитивного оборота ставится предлог for.

    5) В американском варианте английского языка инфинитивный оборот, вводимый предлогом for, может стоять после некоторых глаголов, которые в британском варианте допускают при себе сложное дополнение. К таким глаголам относятся: like - нравиться, hate - ненавидеть, mean - иметь в виду, intend - планировать и подобные им по значению
