Токоведущая часть, которая при определённых условиях может вызвать опасное поражение электрическим током.
Из всего многообразия токоведущих частей в нормативной и правовой документации выделяют опасные токоведущие части, контакт с которыми может сопровождаться опасным для человека или животных поражением электрическим током. В обычных условиях токоведущие части рассматривают в качестве опасных токоведущих частей, если они находятся под напряжением, превышающем сверхнизкое напряжение – 50 В переменного тока и 120 В постоянного тока. В помещениях здания с неблагоприятными условиями (во влажных и сырых помещениях, в помещениях с проводящими полами, стенами, потолками, например, в ванных комнатах, и др.) токоведущие части являются опасными, когда они находятся под напряжением превышающем, например, 12 В переменного тока и 30 В постоянного тока.
