Гидроксиапатитная хроматография — метод отделения двухцепочечной ДНК или ДНК/РНК-гибридных молекул от одноцепочечной ДНК: колонки заполняются гидроксиапатитом, связывающим нуклеиновые кислоты путем электростатического взаимодействия между остатками кальция и фосфатными группами полинуклеотидов. При этом одноцепочечные нуклеиновые кислоты связываются относительно слабо и элюируют из колонки при более низкой концентрации фосфатов, чем двунитчатые молекулы.
