— торговаться с кем-либо по поводу чего-либо/добиваться у кого-либо чего-либо; to bargain for fish (for milk) — торговаться о цене рыбы (молока); to bargain for better conditions —добиваться лучших условий; to bargain for a better/higher pay — добиваться более высокой оплаты I hate bargaining! The locals were used to bargaining with each other so it was difficult for me to get a good price. You can get even better deal, if you are prepared to bargain. If you go to a street market you have to be prepared to haggle.
