Ro 7:8ff; Hb 7:18; 9:19. κατὰ νόμον ἐντολῆς σαρκίνης acc. to a legal system which demands that one meets a (specific) physical standard (i.e. Levitical descent) 7:16; Mt. 15:6 v.l. (for λόγον). In contrast to God’s ἐ. is the παράδοσις of the Pharisees 15:3; cp. Mk 7:8f.
