1) маленькие (60—100 нм) мембранно-связанные пузыреобразные органеллы (везикулы), секретируемые некоторыми клетками, которые участвуют в процессе обмена веществ между клеткой и ее окружением. Э. в зависимости от типа секретирующих их клеток могут выполнять разную роль в организме; напр., Э., секретируемые антигенпрезентирующими дендритными клетками, обогащены некоторыми белками (белки главного комплекса гистосовместимости, белки теплового шока и др.), которые важны для правильной иммунорегуляции в организме. Делаются попытки создания синтетических Э.2) мультисубъединичные комплексы, состоящие из 30—50 экзонуклеаз, которые осуществляют деградацию и процессинг РНК, взаимодействуют с факторами транскрипции (см. факторы транскрипции).Толковый биотехнологический словарь.
