R. s. 16 ונקרא אשכול … לִכְרוֹתוכ׳ and he (Abrahams ally) was named Eshkol (Cluster), on account of the cluster of grapes which the Israelites were destined to cut in his home.Esp. to cut genitals, mutilate.
