Такая точка некоторого подмножества A метрического пространства, что любая ее малая окрестность (называется e-окрестность) содержит хотя бы одну точку из A и хотя бы одну точку, не принадлежащую A. Например. Г.т., лежащая на границе области допустимых значений задачи линейного программирования (см. рис.Л.1 к соответствующей статье); отличается тем, что ее (точки) окрестность содержит как допустимые, так и недопустимые точки (см. «Допустимость», «недопустимость».).
