NOC/NPC relations staff will assist NOCs/NPCs at pre-Games and Games time with issue resolution based out of the NOC/NPC Services Center in the residential zone of the Villages. NOC/NPC Relations staff's working relationship established during the Pre-Games period continues with the NOCs/NPCs to address specific issues one-on-one with Chefs de Mission and/or other team representatives during the Games. NOC/NPC Relations also work to ensure that NOC/NPC Services and the OCOG are informed of any NOC/NPC issues at an early stage to allow for immediate address and resolution.

Command and control refers to the concept of forming the organizational framework for integrated operations and decision making, during both planning and Games operations periods, by all organizers represented at the venues, precinct and other operational teams. The OCOG may establish a Command and Control function to manage this. During the Games time, this function is responsible for implementing Games-wide command and control, primarily coordinated through the Main Operations Center.

Функция «Управление объектами» координирует все функции, задействованные в эксплуатации объекта во время проведения Игр, и выступает в роли конечной инстанции на объекте в случае конфликта между функциями или в случае неожиданных событий, оказывающих влияние на установленные планы.

During the Games time Venue Management is responsible for the overall management of the venues, ensuring that the venue teams can operate each venue at world-class level, and all aspects of the staging of the events are adequately supported, with strong emphasis on client service, safety and functional efficiency. Venue Management coordinates all the FAs involved in Games-time operations at venue level, and represents the final authority within the venue, in case of conflict between functions or unexpected events that affect the established plans.
