арбитражметод, применяемый для использования преимуществ в разнице цен. Если, например, акции компании ABC могут быть куплены в Нью-Йорке за US$10 за штуку и проданы в Лондоне за US$10.50, участник сделки может одновременно купить акции ABC в Нью-Йорке и продать то же самое количество в Лондоне, делая прибыль в размере 50 центов на одной акции, за вычетом расходов. Арбитраж может, кроме того, состоять из приобретения прав подписки на ценную бумагу, или покупку конвертируемой ценной бумаги и одновременной или почти одновременной продажи данной ценной бумаги, полученной в результате реализации своих прав на нее, или ценной бумаги, приобретенной в результате конвертации (см. convertible, rights) -
