При помощи средств вывода компьютер представляет пользователю результаты вычислений, меню и приглашения-требования; сегодня самое распространённое устройство вывода - это дисплей, за которым следуют механизмы, использующие слуховые возможности человека, а именно возможности восприятия речи (голоса) и звука.
