Осуществление быстрого доступа к опции или функции путем нажатия специальной последовательности клавиш. Обычно это комбинация с клавишей Alt на IBM PC-совместимых компьютерах или с клавишей Apple для Macintosh. Вторая клавиша определяет назначение оперативного выбора. Например, стандартный быстрый доступ к выпадающему меню File (Файл) в системе Windows происходит при нажатии Alt+F. При этом буква F в названии меню File выделяется подчеркиванием.
