(Cross-interleaved Reed Solomon code) перемежающийся код Рида-Соломона, код Рида-Соломона с перекрёстным перемежениембазовая система коррекции ошибок при считывании данных с компакт-дисков, DVD, CD-ROM и др. CIRC реализует два принципа, обеспечивающих возможность обнаружения и коррекции предусмотренных этим алгоритмом ошибок: избыточность (redundancy) и перемежение (interleaving). Избыточность составляет около 25% от полезной информации. Перемежение заключается в том, что логически единая информация делится на блоки (frame), которые располагаются не подряд, а вразброс на относительно большой площади диска, что позволяет добиться достоверности считывания даже при наличии точечных дефектов, царапин и др.см. тж.
