Перепись
Сбор социально-экономической информации о домохозяйствах или компаниях, который проводится на регулярной основе во всех регионах страны. В Великобритании, например, перепись населения (population census) проводится каждые десять лет, начиная с 1891 г., с целью получения демографических сведений, а перепись промышленности (production census) - ежегодно с целью получения подробной информации о промышленном производстве, занятости, инвестициях и т.д. Перепись предприятий торговли (distribution census) предоставляет данные об оптовой и розничной торговле. Собранная информация используется государственными структурами при разработке социальной, экономической и промышленной политики. -
