Модель экономического роста Солоу
Модель названа именем американского экономиста Роберта Солоу (1924), который в 1987 г. получил Нобелевскую премию по экономике за труды в области теории экономического роста. В экономических моделях экономического роста Хэррода и Домара (см. Harrod economic-growth model, Domar economic-growth model) капиталоемкость (см. Capital-output ratio) рассматривается как постоянная величина, т.е. предполагается, что существует линейная зависимость между увеличением запасов капитала (через инвестиции) и объемом производства. В отличие от них модель Солоу использует производственную функцию (Y = f (K, L)), в которой объем производства Y зависит от запасов капитала K и количества используемого труда L при условии взаимозаменяемости этих двух факторов производства. Если величина капитала увеличивается относительно количества используемых работников, рост производства все более замедляется (см. Diminishing returns). Таким образом, для достижения устойчивого экономического роста требуется не cтолько «расширение» капитала (см. Capital widening), сколько его «углубление» (Capital deepening). Существенную роль в сглаживании эффекта убывающей отдачи от вложений дополнительного капитала играет научно-технический прогресс.Новый англо-русский словарь-справочник. Производительность (труда)
Объем производства на единицу затрат производственных факторов. Производительность обычно измеряется количеством продукции, произведенной одним человеком за единицу рабочего времени, например, за час (output per man-hour), что дает возможность проводить сравнения между отдельными фирмами, отраслями или странами. Увеличение производительности труда играет важную роль в достижении более высоких темпов экономического роста и в долгосрочной перспективе является основным фактором увеличения реального дохода на душу населения.
