    תַּיָּירָא m. = תַּיָּורָא, ox-driver, plougher. B. Bath.54b he gets possession of the whole field, when he digs כדאזיל ת׳ דתורי והדר (Ms. M. תוורא; Ms. H. תַּיָּארָא; Ms. R. תַּיּוֹרָא, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) as far as the plougher goes with his oxen and turns around, i. e. when he digs the distance of an ordinary bed in the field; (Rashb. כדאזיל תְּיָירָא דתוריוכ׳ when a yoke of oxen goes over the entire length (or breadth) of the field and turns back, i. e. two beds all along the field).
