1895-1986Especialista, actor, doble de las estrellas en escenas arriesgadas, director de escenas de accion, realizador, Yakima Canutt es uno de los nombres miticos en el western. Siempre sera dificil determinar hasta don de llega su responsabilidad en un rodaje, por lo que, mas que en ningun otro caso, establecer su filmografia como director es siempre una tarea aproximada. Procedente del mundo del rodeo, su hipotetica ca rrera como actor se quebro con la llegada del sonoro, ya que padecia una dolencia irreversible de las cuerdas vocales. Trabajo como especialista y como actor en el cine mudo. En particular, fue doble de Douglas Fairbanks en escenas especialmente arriesgadas. Talmadge creo incluso su propia productora en 1923.
