1) мобильность, переносимостьсвойство ПО, определяющее возможность переноса программы с одной аппаратной и/или программной платформы на другие без изменений или с минимальными её переделками (доработками). Необходимость в этом часто возникает из-за того, что время жизни механической части системы составляет 5-20 лет, а система управления устаревает за 3-5 лет. Для сохранения конкурентоспособности и выпускается усовершенствованная модель изделия с перенесённой на новую элементную базу системой управления.
