בָּקָרm. (b. h.; v. בָּקַר) a beef; (collect.) oxen, cattle. Sifra Vayikra ch. 2, Par. 2 אין לך בבהמה אלא ב׳וכ׳ under bhemah for offerings (Lev. 1:2) are meant only beeves and sheep; a. fr. בן ב׳ young cattle, calf.
