    Divide into two parts: P. τέμνειν δίχα.
    Cleave asunder: P. and V. σχίζειν, P. διασχίζειν; see Cleave.
    Distribute: P. and V. νέμειν; see Distribute.
    Divide between oneself and others: P. διαιρεῖσθαι, διανέμεσθαι, νέμεσθαι, μερίζεσθαι.
