A.Pers. 353), ῖνος, ὁ,A one of the Telchines, described as inhabitants of Crete (hence called [full] Τελχῑνία, St.Byz.), Rhodes ([full] Τελχῑνίς, Str.14.2.7), Sicyon (St.Byz. s.v.), Ceos (Call.Fr. 9.65 P.), or Cyprus (Paus.9.19.1), and the first workers in metal; but of ill report as spiteful sorcerers ([full] Τ.γόητες Call.
