Gen. 2:3) whence to bless (Pi.).Part. pass. בָּרוּךְ chosen, blessed, praised. הקדוש ב׳ הוא (abbr. הקב״ה) the Holy One, blessed be He. Pes.118a; a. v. fr. Ib. 104b, a. fr. פותח בב׳וכ׳ he (who prays) opens the benediction with barukh and closes with barukh (i. e. ברוך אתהה׳). Tosef.Sot.I, 10 ב׳ בכלל, v. כְּלָל; a. fr.
