Systematic, independent and documented process of checking projects for conformity to formal requirements defined in project management regulatory instruments and in approved project documents. Project audit allows to reveal the necessity of introducing changes in the course of project implementation, to provide stakeholders with timely, objective information and recommendations for decision-making, and to promote achievement of project goals.
