Инвестиции, производимые попечителями в тех случаях, когда они уполномочены инвестировать доверенную собственность. В Великобритании инвестирование доверенного имущества, производимое попечителями, регулируется Законом об инвестициях, осуществляемых попечителями 1961 г. Этот Закон имеет силу во всех случаях, кроме тех, когда доверенность, составленная уже после принятия этого Закона, исключает его действие. Половина трастового фонда должна инвестироваться в ценные бумаги с узкими границами колебания курса (narrow-range securities), в основном в ценные бумаги с фиксированным процентом. Другую половину разрешается инвестировать в ценные бумаги с широкими границами колебания курса (wider-range securities), среди которых наиболее заметное место занимают обыкновенные акции компаний, включенных в котировочный лист Лондонской фондовой биржи. В некоторых случаях попечитель перед осуществлением инвестиций обязан проконсультироваться со специалистами. Закон значительно увеличил спектр инвестиций, осуществляемых попечителями.
