Obligation udstedt under en emission, der er opdelt i to trancher, hvis indfrielseskurs er knyttet til et på forhånd fastlagt indeks, f.eks. et fondsbørsindeks. Indfrielseskursen på den ene tranche (bull-tranchen) stiger, hvis det pågældende indeks stiger, mens indfrielseskursen på den anden tranche (bear-tranchen) falder, hvis indekset falder. I en situation uden en entydig markedstendens får investorerne herved mulighed for at satse i overensstemmelse med deres forskellige markedsforventninger, uden at låntagers forhold påvirkes, forudsat de to trancher er lige store. Obligation, hvis pålydende er udtrykt i to forskellige valutaer med to dertil svarende forskellige pålydende rentesatser. Rentebetalingerne beregnes som den pålydende rente af hovedstolen i den ene valuta minus den pålydende rente af hovedstolen i den anden valuta. Det beløb, obligationen skal indfries med, beregnes som forskellen i den pålydende værdi i de to valutaer på grundlag af krydskursen (se cross rate) mellem de to valutaer på indfrielsestidspunktet. Rentebetalingen og indfrielseskursen afhænger således af udviklingen mellem de to valutaer. Se også bull-bear bond og heaven and hell bond.
