Подгруппа индейских языков атапаскской группы [ Athapascan], включающей 19 племен в Вашингтоне, Орегоне и Калифорнии, из которых ныне существуют хупа [ Hupa], като [ Kato], маттоле [ Mattole], мишиквутметунне [ Mishikhwutmetunne] (кокилл [ Coquille]), толова [ Tolowa], вайлаки [ Wailaki], уайлкут [ Whilkut], тутутни [ Tututni], ампква [ Umpqua], четко [ Chetco] и частакоста [ Chastacosta]. 3 Hoopa Valley Reservation
Находится в Калифорнии, площадь 352 кв. км. Здесь живут часть индейцев из племен хупа [ Hupa], юрок [ Yurok] и карок [ Karok], принадлежащих к этой резервационной общине. С ними ассимилиировались остатки племен вайлаки [ Wailaki], вийот [ Wiyot], чилула [Chilula], уайлкут [ Whilkut], хучном [Huchnom] и др. Резервация существует с 1876. Здесь развиты охота и рыболовство, плетение корзин, изготовление изделий из бисера и другие народные промыслы, приготовление на продажу традиционных блюд из желудей; лесное хозяйство, земледелие.
