1 Salampores
These are coloured cotton cloths for native wear in East and South Africa, South America, and some parts of India. The warp is usually yarn dyed blue, and fancy coloured wefts form cross stripes. There is a bar of blue weft then a bar of other colours. Made about 56 ends and 44 picks per inch, 30's warp, 16's weft.
