1 Kutawroomee
Native-made cotton and silk fabrics of Dacca, Dumroy, and other parts of India. The cotton yarn ranges from 30's to 80's and the silk is Muga (or Moonga) which is imported from Assam. The cloths are of great variety, consisting of cotton with only a silk border, or a silk flower or figure in each corner; others are striped, checked or figured with silk throughout the body of the cloth. The principal varieties are named Kutawroomee, Nowbutee, Luchuck, and Azeezoola. When embroidered with the needle they are called Kasida.
