Spalding Quint. 1, 6, 31), ein Stadtteil Roms, der an die Subura grenzte und bis zum Forum Romanum reichte, also in der Gegend, die von der südlichen Spitze des Quirinalis sich nach dem Capitolinus erstreckt, zu Martials Zeit hauptsächlich die Gegend zwischen der Subura u. dem Forum Nervä u. Templum Pacis, wo die Handwerker u. Buchhändler feil hatten, Cic. ad Att. 12, 32, 2. Verg.
