ἐν-διάω ( ἔνδιος), unter freiem Himmel, übh. an einem Orte verweilen, darin wohnen; ὀλολυγὼν – ἐνδιάουσα βάτοις Agath. 25 (V, 292); vgl. 58 (IV, 4); ἐνδιάασκε Theocr. 22, 44; übertr., ἐλπὶς ἐνδιάει ὄμμασι Paul. Sil. 17 (V, 270). Auch im med., Hom. h. 32, 9. – Trans., ποιμένες μᾶλα ἐνδιάασκον, ließen die Schaafe unter freiem Himmel weiden, Theocr. 16, 38.
