I. schaden, Ζεῠ, ἦ ῥά τιν' ἤδη τῇδ' ἄτῃ ἄασας Il. 8, 237; ἄασάν [– – –] μ' ἕταροί τε κακοί, πρὸς τοῖσί τε ὕπνος Od. 10, 68; besonders geistig: bethören, verblenden, οἶνος καὶ Κένταυρον-ἄασε Od. 21, 296 [– ñ ñ] u. 287 ἐπεὶ φρένας ἄασεν οἴνῳ; so ἆσέ με δαίμονος αἶσα κακὴ καὶ-οἶνος Od. 11, 61. – Med. praes. in ders. activen Bedeutung ἄτη, ἣ πάντας ἀᾶται Il. 19, 91. 129. – Aor. I. med. ich bethörte mich, verging mich (VLL. ἐβλάβην, ἄτῃ περιέπεσον), ἀασάμην [– ñ ñ], Il. II. 9, 116. 119 u. 19, 137, wo das dabeistehende καίμευ φρένας ἐξέλετο Ζεύς es dem 136 vorangehenden ἀάσθην gleichstellt; ὰάσατο μέγα ϑφμῷ, er hatte sich sehr verblendet, war bethört im Geiste, Il. 9, 537. 11, 340 [
– ñ ñ]. Aber aktivisch Ζῆν' ἄσατο [– ñ ñ] Iliad. 19, 95, wo jedoch nach Tidymus (s. Scholl.) Aristarch und die Mehrzahl lasen Ζεὺς ἄσατο. – Ap. Rh. 2, 623 verbindet ἤμβροτον ἀασάμην τε κακὴν ἄτην. – Pass. aor. I. ἀάσϑη, wurde verblendet, Il. 16, 635. 13, 113 Od. 4, 503, – φρεσὶν ᾗσιν ἀασϑείς 21, 361, – H.
