ḥoshebh

פַּרְצוֹףm. (an adapt. of πρόσωπον, as if it were פרץ אף) face, visage, front. Yeb.XVI, 3 פ׳ פנים the full face, v. חוֹטָם. Ib. 120a פ׳ פנים ולא פדחת if the face is left, but without the forehead. Erub.18a, v. דִּיפְּרוֹסוֹף. Ber.61a (ref. to הצלע, Gen. 2:22) חד אמר פ׳ one says, it means one of the two faces of Adam (v. דִּיפְּרוֹסוֹף).
