שְׁרַג, שְׁרֵיג= שְׁרַק, to glide, slip. Ḥull.111a מִשְׁרַג שָׁרֵיג Ar. a. Ms. R. 2 (ed. משרק שריק), v. שְׁרַק II.B. (שְׁ׳) שְׂרַג = סְרַג, 1) (cmp. סֵירוּג) to skip, to leap. Targ. Y. Lev. 11:21 למֵישְׁרַג (prob. to be read with שׂ; h. text לנתר). 2) to pile up bricks with interspaces (v. אַוָּארָא).
