פָּקַק 1) to split, drive into, force open. Sabb.155b ופוֹקֵק Ms. M., v. פָּקַס I.Denom. פֶּקֶק. 2) (denom. of פֶּקֶק; cmp. חָרַק a. חֶרֶק) to insert a stop-gap; to stop. Kel. III, 8 משפך … שפְּקָקוֹוכ׳ (not שפקקה) a funnel of wood or clay stopped off with pitch. Ib. XXVIII, 2 שהתקינו לָפוֹק בו את המרחץ (ed.
