    קוֹרְצִין m. pl. (קָרַץ; cmp. קָרוֹצָא) destructive insects, worms. Ab. dR. N. ch. XXXI ברא ק׳ בעולם וברא ק׳ באדם זה בני מיעיווכ׳ (not זה אזניו; Var. ed. Schechter כִּרְצִים, v. כִּרְצָא) he created destroyers in the world (vegetable kingdom), and so he did in man, namely the intestinal worms. (The entire passage is a Var. of the preced. ברא חיהוכ׳.
