קורצין

קוֹרְצִין m. pl. (קָרַץ; cmp. קָרוֹצָא) destructive insects, worms. Ab. dR. N. ch. XXXI ברא ק׳ בעולם וברא ק׳ באדם זה בני מיעיווכ׳ (not זה אזניו; Var. ed. Schechter כִּרְצִים, v. כִּרְצָא) he created destroyers in the world (vegetable kingdom), and so he did in man, namely the intestinal worms. (The entire passage is a Var. of the preced. ברא חיהוכ׳.

קוּרְצִיןm. pl. (v. קַרְצָא) destruction. Treat. Der. Er. ch. XI (read:) האוכל ק׳ הרי זהוכ׳ the informer belongs to the class of shedders of blood (ref. to Lev. 19:16).Tosef.B. Mets. IX, 19, v. קֶרֶץ.
