קוּפָּהf. ( קפף, v. כָּפַף; cmp. כִּיפָּה) 1) heap, pile. Yoma 22b אלא אם כן ק׳ של שרציםוכ׳ unless a heap of reptiles hangs behind him, v. פַּרְנָס Ber.32a, v. נָהַם; a. e. 2) archway, vault, v. כִּיפָּה. 3) (v. כְּפִיפָה) basket, large vessel. Y.Ber.I, 3a ק׳ מלאהוכ׳ a basket full of bones. Gen. R. s. 13 הבא קוּפָּתְךָוכ׳ bring thy tub and measure (fill it); Y.Succ.I, 52b bot.
