פּוּרְמָא, פְּרָמָאm. (פָּרַם) piece of cloth, rag used as a mask, bandage over the eyes. Tanḥ. Mishp. 19 פ׳ בפניהם כגון חמוריםוכ׳ they (the demons) have a mask over their faces like the millers asses; וכשהעונות גודמין הפ׳ נגלהוכ׳ and when mans sins bring it about, the mask is removed, and man becomes insane; Yalk.
